JOIN A DEMOCRATIC CLUB!

We have several Democratic Clubs and Committees, throughout Gregg County, which work on local issues, help elect Democratic candidates, and register voters. Our committees and clubs are actively involved in the community and consist of people - just like you - who want to volunteer some time, to make a difference! VOLUNTEER TO WORK AT THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY HEADQUARTERS!

As we move toward the next election, we're looking for people to volunteer at our County Democratic Party Headquarters. Volunteers are needed to staff the reception desk, do light clerical work (filing, preparing packets for mail, stuffing envelopes, etc.), work our phone banks, perform basic computer work, and much more! Our office will be open throughout the day and evening, and will be accessible to public transportation. We need people at all skill levels - experience is not needed - we'll train you! VOLUNTEER TO WORK AS A PRECINCT CAPTAIN IN YOUR OWN NEIGHBORHOOD!

A great way to get to know your Democratic neighbors! As a Precinct Captain, you'll visit your neighbors, at various times throughout the year, and offer: to assist them with registering to vote and voting by mail; to provide them with information on Democratic candidates and issues; and to make sure they vote on election day. VOLUNTEER TO WORK ON A DEMOCRATIC PARTY SUBCOMMITTEE!

If you have experience or interest in a particular area, we have a number of subcommittees that work on specific project areas throughout the year. Subcommittees meet monthly as part of our general membership meetings. Our current project areas include: Issues, Fundraising, Community Outreach, Organizational Development, Precinct Coordination and Candidate Recruitment.
